One-to-one hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy works with the patterns underneath the symptom — the stories about yourself you didn't choose and have been running ever since. In a relaxed, focused state, we work with those patterns directly rather than talking around them.

I trained at the European College of Hypnotherapy and have practised for twenty-five years. Sessions are one-to-one, in Ealing or online via Zoom, £125 each with packages available.

What a session is like

A focused state, not a sleep state.

You stay aware and in control throughout — hypnosis is focused attention, not unconsciousness. You can't be made to do or say anything against your will, and most people are surprised how ordinary and calm it feels.

We agree what we're working on at the start, then I guide you into a relaxed state and we work with the patterns directly. Afterwards we talk through what came up.

Asked most often.

How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need?

Most courses of work run four to six sessions. Anxiety and self-worth work tends to run six to ten; phobia work is often shorter, typically two to three. We agree the shape in the first session and you're free to stop at any point.

Will I be unconscious or out of control?

No. Hypnosis is a focused state, not a sleep state. You're aware of everything in the room and can't be made to do or say anything against your will. Stage hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy are different things.

Can hypnotherapy happen online?

Yes. Online sessions via Zoom work well for hypnotherapy — the structure and intake are identical to in person. You'll need a quiet room and headphones.
